The Sheringham Ladies’ Section warmly welcomes all lady golfers, regardless of golf handicap or experience, to participate in the formal and informal competitions.
The Section has more than 60 active members. The Ladies play on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. After we have played, we usually stop for a coffee or lunch and a chat.
Tuesday is our competition day with a meeting every week; Saturday there is an all day Stableford or Monthly Medal. For more information please see the section on Competitions Calendar under click to view
Some of the Ladies also take part in Inter-Club and County matches.
The suggestion book is kept in the Ladies Office in the Locker room.
Any important notices or news will be posted on the website or emailed to members.

Club Competitions
Tuesday competitions
There are formal and informal competitions organised by the Ladies committee for almost every Tuesday morning throughout the year. These may be played as teams, pairs or individuals and in a variety of formats. A quarterly diary containing details of all competitions can be accessed on the website and is on the Ladies notice board in the changing room. Entry for most competitions is online or via the Professional’s Shop. For some competitions (e.g. drawn competitions) an entry list is posted on the Ladies’ notice board in the changing room. You will be advised of your playing partner(s) and tee time before the event. Entry to the competitions and entry fee varies according to the competition format, as does the value of the prizes.
Saturday competitions
There is now an All Day Stableford plus medal competitions; details are on the quarterly diary.
You may play anytime on Saturday and your marker does not need to be taking part in the competition. For the medal prior to playing you must sign in on the sheet on the Ladies notice board and also at the Pro Shop. For the All Day Stableford you must sign in at the Pro Shop.
Eclectic
The first card must be a full 18 hole card. A further 15 cards may be submitted with a minimum of 9 holes completed. The entry fee is £3 - The fee will be deducted from your members card.
